Right after placing the order, you will receive an order number and a confirmation email. These will help track your order in case of any issues. Since the restaurant is responsible for faulty food, you can reach out to them via the confirmation email number.

However, Takeaway.com also has a customer care terminal for any such issues. You can always leave your comments if something was unsatisfactory and they will try to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Precautions in the wake of COVID-19

Takeaway.com is taking the Corona Virus pandemic very seriously. It is their top priority to keep their customer, delivery drivers and partner restaurants safe. Thus, several safety measures are being followed by the platform.

They are also trying their utmost to monitor the situation via the local health authorities. At per their service, contactless delivery service has been introduced to prevent person-to-person contact.

The delivery person will ring the bell and leave the parcel outside the customer’s door. Thence, the customer can open the door and pick it up. This step will ensure no customer comes in contact with their delivery drivers and vice versa.

Moreover, the company is providing free antibacterial hand sanitisers and face masks to all their staff members. The staff is also supervised strictly so that preventative measures are followed at all costs.

Although, WHO has declared that the novel coronavirus does not get transmitted via food. All delivery companies need to follow health and safety measures to prevent the spread of the virus.
